To obtain a S1, you must first apply for an A1 Document. After you obtain your A1 Document, send a copy to the Entitlement Unit at [email protected].

The issued S1 will be valid according to the dates specified on your A1 document.

The application, including all required documents ( A1), will be processed the same day it is received. The registered S1 document will be sent through EESSI (Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information) to the Institution in member state where you will reside.
