The Health Care Funding Directorate and Entitlement Unit awarded the Equality Mark

The Health Care Funding Directorate/Entitlement Unit have been awarded the Equality Mark by the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality (NCPE). The award was formally presented during the annual conference hosted by the NCPE in October 2020. Recertification of the Equality Mark was granted in May 2022.

This award is a testament to the Health Care Funding Directorate’s commitment, as a team, to having gender equality as one of its values as well as the Directorate’s recognition and promotion of the potential of all employees irrespective of their gender and caring responsibilities. Being awarded the Equality Mark also demonstrates a promise to safeguard the rights of all present and prospective employees irrespective of a person’s sex, marital status, pregnancy or potential pregnancy, or because of caring responsibilities.

The Health Care Funding Directorate offers an environment that values family friendly measures and work life balance, as well as one which implements an equality and sexual harassment policy.
