In 2025 EU Entitlement Unit officers again participated in the annual Europe Day events. On 3 May staff members participated with a stand at an event held at Villa Rundle in Rabat, Gozo (organised by Europe Direct Gozo). On 9 May the Unit was also present for the Europe Day Activities organised by Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta [SEM] in collaboration with Europe Direct Valletta in Freedom Square. During both events information on how to apply for the EHIC, its usage, as well as other public health entitlement-related services was provided to the public.
